Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled by the JBMHL Pathways Android application (the “App”) and this companion website (together, the “Services”). The App provides general educational skill prompts, fictional scenarios, planning tools, checklists, and reflection tools. This Policy describes the Services' intentionally limited data practices.

Scope and responsible contacts

This Policy applies to the App with package name org.jbmhlcharities.app and the companion website at this domain. It does not govern Android, a device manufacturer, your email or telephone provider, your browser, Cloudflare, an IRS website, or another external application or site you choose to open.

JBMHL Charities Inc is the identified organization. The Gmail address and phone number in Section 14 were supplied specifically as Android App Support contacts and are not represented as independently verified public organization channels.

Information you may store locally

You may voluntarily create or change these App-local items:

The Skill Deck and fictional Scenario Studio do not submit answers or create a score. Local entries are not applications for JBMHL services, program enrollment, grant requests, registrations, case records, or emergency requests.

Local storage and use

The items in Section 3 are stored in the App's private Android SharedPreferences on your device. They are used only to restore the selected Today’s Step, display goal and checklist progress, reopen your project draft, and show reflection entries back to you. The App does not transmit them to JBMHL Charities Inc or App Support.

Local information is not used for advertising, profiling, identity verification, eligibility decisions, education admissions, employment, credit, automated decision-making, or sale.

No accounts, Internet connection, ads, analytics, or tracking

• No App account, username, password, or sign-in.
• No Android INTERNET permission.
• No advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, attribution, or social-media SDK.
• No App-controlled cloud database or remote sync.
• No sale, rental, or sharing of App-local goals, drafts, checklist state, or reflections.
• The companion website includes no ads or analytics script and does not intentionally set cookies.

Permissions, sensitive information, and content choices

The App does not request access to location, camera, microphone, contacts, call logs, SMS, nearby devices, body sensors, calendar, photos, video, audio, files, advertising ID, notifications, or other sensitive or restricted Android permissions.

The App does not ask for names, email addresses, telephone numbers, exact locations, health information, school records, government identifiers, financial details, passwords, or other sensitive information in its local tools. Keep entries generic. Do not record information that identifies a child or another person, confidential case details, private keys, authentication secrets, or emergency information.

External email, phone, and browser actions

The App uses standard Android handoffs rather than communicating directly:

• ACTION_SENDTO: an email action asks Android to open a compatible email app with a recipient and optional draft. Review, edit, cancel, or send it. Nothing is sent until you press Send.
• ACTION_DIAL: a phone action opens the dialer with a number prepared. The App does not place or record the call and cannot read your call history.
• ACTION_VIEW: a Privacy Policy or source link opens in an external browser. The App does not receive your browsing activity from that browser.

External applications, network providers, recipients, and destination sites handle information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Companion website, support form, and Cloudflare hosting

The website's App Support form creates a mailto: draft. This static site does not submit, receive, or store what you type. Information leaves the page only if you choose to send the prepared message through your external email provider.

The website is delivered through Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may process standard technical request information—such as IP address, browser or device information, requested path, time, and security signals—to deliver and protect the site. Those infrastructure practices are controlled by Cloudflare. App Support does not combine hosting request information with App-local content.

Android backup and device transfer

The App declares Android backup disabled with android:allowBackup="false" and restrictive backup configuration. Today’s Step, goal fields, project draft, checklist state, and reflections are not designed to enter normal Android cloud backup or App device-to-device restore.

System behavior can vary on enterprise-managed, rooted, modified, or compromised devices and with system-level tools outside the App's control. After you clear App storage or uninstall, the App does not intend to restore its local information from Android backup.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Local data remains on the device until you:

• use the relevant in-App Clear, Reset, or Delete control;
• select Clear all local app data in Foundation & Support;
• clear the App's storage through Android settings; or
• uninstall the App.

Deletion may be irreversible because App backup is disabled. You may choose not to save a goal, draft, checklist state, or reflection and may cancel any external email, phone, or browser action. To request deletion of personal information you previously sent by email, contact App Support; legal, security, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping obligations may apply.

Youth-related classification; not child-directed

Public IRS-derived records classify JBMHL Charities Inc under NTEE O50, Youth Development Programs, Other. That organization classification does not make this App a child-directed service. The Services provide general-audience educational tools and are not designed or directed specifically to children under 13.

The App does not knowingly collect children's personal information through an account, ad network, analytics service, online form, or cloud database. A parent, guardian, educator, or other responsible adult should supervise a minor's use of planning or reflection tools and any external email, phone, or web action. Do not enter a child's identity, school, contact details, exact location, health information, or other sensitive information.

Security and responsible use

The App reduces exposure through local private storage, disabled backup, no account, no Internet permission, no cloud database, and no ads, analytics, tracking, or sensitive permissions. No device or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Device access, malware, screenshots, rooted systems, system tools, or content copied into an external app may expose information. Use a device lock, keep Android updated, and avoid placing confidential or identifying information in local drafts.

United States operation and international use

JBMHL Charities Inc is identified in Utah, United States, and the supplied App Support channel is operated as a United States contact. If you email App Support from another country, your message may be processed in the United States by the recipient and by the email providers involved. Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction. You may contact App Support about access, correction, or deletion of information you previously sent by email. App-local information otherwise remains under your device's control unless you disclose it through an external service.

Policy changes and contact information

This Policy may be updated when App features, website practices, hosting, or legal requirements change. The revised text and effective date will be posted at https://jbmhlcharitiesinc.downslamarht2iqnb.workers.dev/privacy-policy. Materially different data practices should be disclosed in an updated App and Policy before taking effect.
